Meet Adam
Adam Littleton is a lifelong resident of Smiths Station and a proud 1997 graduate of Smiths Station High School. Deeply rooted in the community, Adam is running for City Council, Place 2, to help shape a strong future for the city he’s always called home.
Adam and his wife, Amy, have built their life and family in Smiths Station. They have three children—Max and Paige, both graduates of SSHS, and their youngest, Mya, who currently attends East Smiths Station Elementary. The Littletons are active members of Smiths Station Baptist Church, where Adam serves on the church security team and has previously served on the Finance Committee.
Professionally, Adam and Amy are both self-employed in the real estate industry. Adam is a licensed home builder and Realtor, while Amy serves as the Associate Broker at HomeLink Realty. In addition to his real estate work, Adam also drives a school bus for Lee County Schools.
Community service has long been a priority for Adam. He currently serves on the Smiths Station Water & Sewer Authority Board of Directors and has previously held positions on the Lee County Planning Commission and the Lee County Building Authority. A passionate supporter of Smiths Station schools, Adam is actively involved with the SSHS Football Booster Club and has a long history in youth sports—serving on the board of Smiths Station youth baseball and coaching youth football and girls' softball.
In his spare time, Adam enjoys weight training, running, gardening, sports, and supporting his children in their various activities. His dedication to Smiths Station is lifelong, and he’s committed to bringing that same passion, experience, and work ethic to City Council.

Adam on the Issues
Infrastructure
Smiths Station is growing fast, but our roads, drainage, and public infrastructure are struggling to keep up. I’ll fight for the upgrades we need to keep our city moving safely and efficiently.
Support for Business
Our small businesses are the heart of our local economy. I’ll work to cut red tape and make it easier for entrepreneurs to succeed right here in Smiths Station. In addition to that, I will work to recruit new business to our city, allowing us to continue to grow and thrive. I’m a business owner myself and nothing makes me happier than to see a small business succeed and benefit this community.
Smart, Responsible Growth
We need growth that fits our community — not overcrowded developments and traffic headaches. I’ll advocate for thoughtful zoning and long-term planning that protects our small-town values.
Investing in Youth & Schools
While the City doesn’t run our schools, we can still be a strong partner. I’ll work with educators, improve infrastructure near campuses, and support youth programs that help kids thrive. The Lee County BOE is one of our city's largest employers, they must have the support of the city to make improvements as needed for the safety of our students.
Transparency & Trust
City government should work for the people — not behind closed doors! I’ll promote open meetings, clear communication, and ensure residents have a real voice in the decisions that affect them. I support complete transparency. The people of Smiths Station have a right to know!
Parks, Recreation, & Community
Families in Smiths Station deserve great places to gather and play. I’ll prioritize maintaining our parks, expanding recreation programs, and supporting more community events that bring neighbors together. This is an aspect we’ve seen a decline as of late. I will work to bring people together to rebuild the loyalty once seen in this community.
A Safe Community
While Smiths Station currently does not have a Police Department, it is important for us to continue working with the Lee County Sheriff’s Department and our state and federal partners to keep Smiths Station and our residents safe. In the same vein, a City of our size should have a small police department, I will work to determine if and how we can establish a police department.
